This change forms part of a wider rebranding initiative to align our local service with the national Pharmacy First service and to ensure that pharmacy contractors continue to be remunerated for the peripheral services (that fall outside of PGDs) which they provide for patients.

As part of this update, the PharmOutcomes form has been updated and renamed. We would kindly ask that all relevant members of your team take some time to familiarise themselves with the updated form. There are useful notes on the left hand side of the service page to help you navigate the changes.

Please be assured that the changes to the service and PharmOutcomes form are designed to ensure that pharmacy contractors continue to be paid for their offerings which sit outside of the national Pharmacy First service, streamline the documentation of presenting conditions, and create distinction between local and national services.
