*NEW* Cornwall Stop Smoking service
As part of Community Pharmacy Cornwall partnership working with local commissioners for the benefit of patient outcomes we are pleased to announce a NEW service to support people in Cornwall to Stop Smoking. This new service is similar to the national service in many key ways but is less ownerous on Community Pharmacies and allows them to invest in time with patients.
The service is broadly outlined below along with renumeration for Community Pharmacies, this service can be delivered by Pharmacists as well as Pharmacy Technicians supported by the wider Pharmacy team for identification nd administration purposes.
We are looking to begin to roll out this service from August onwards and are now taking expressions of interest from Pharmacy teams who may wish to take part. There will be two face to face events to fully familiarise yourself with the service and allocate equipment to deliver this service in the form of Carbon Monoxide monitors. As it is a pilot service we are looking for up to 45 Pharmacies to take part in this phase. Please indicate your wish to opt in to this service not he form below.

Training
