Special LPC Meeting

The LPC are planning to hold a special open LPC meeting to look at the single issue of Provider Companies, which are being set up in some other locations.  The LPC would particularly like the independent contractors in Cornwall to attend to help us explore options.

As we move forward with a changing NHS and changing ways of commissioning Pharmacy services, opportunities that are attractive to Community Pharmacy may present themselves that require a legal entity that can bid for, hold and manage contracts. There have been discussions across the South West peninsula as to the best way to do this. We would like to have a discussion with Cornwall Contractors around what is best for Community Pharmacy in Cornwall. This will require agreement and financial contribution from contractors in Cornwall.
